She came out of the back room a few moments later changed and ready for duty. This time she was a bit more put togeather as if trying to impress someone that she liked a bit more then just professional.
Not without doing this...
She wrapted her arms around him as she came to face him in the doorway and kissed him right on the lips. She then pulled away enough to wipe the lipstick off his lips and then replyed to his question.
Now I'm ready to go. Are you?
She was all happy bubbly girly inside which was quite the change from the cold hard gaze she was known for. She has learned while on leave that perhaps letting her person shine through on duty wouldn't be so bad after all.

About being on the bridge? No, I was there once before shortly before Optimus put into spaedock. That's why I left Serenity so quickly without a word...I couldn't stand being coopted up in there anymore doing nothing. I heard the Admeril was sick and the Commander was left in charge. I guess officer's instincts kickted in. I am however going to be nervious when hearing the Admeril for the first time and I'll probally jump.
She nervously giggled a bit before contiuing on.
But I don't think I'll be as nervous now as I would have been in the past. Now that I don't got to face this alone. What about you?

She took a deeper breath then what she had been when he winked at her. She was feeling alright just a big giddy because after all she was in the company of a handsome gentalmen. She couldn't even think about what was going on in his head. She was always use to taking orders and never giving them. Perhaps this assignment they could use each other to lean on in different ways. She contiued to walk with him down the corrador. Haveing heard the annocement that all Senior Staff were to report to Commander Denatra when they got back she desided to walk with Xxavian to him. The way it should be. Two ship mates with a unbreakable bond.

She scans him and listens thoughtfully. "I'm afraid the only thing I can offer for those symptoms is a sleep medication and a relaxant for tension, sir. I suggest a visit to the counselor. Physically, you are in good health, but if you start feeling overly stressed or need sleep medications, please come and ask."
"This war wasn't easy on anyone. Doctors always see the cost of war, firsthand. I sometimes wonder why I'm a Starfleet doctor... it seems odd to have doctors who took an oath to follow orders, when at the same time we 'do no harm'." She shakes her head slightly. She's haunted every moment by the suffering she's seen... the new war only stirred the memories. Every loss was a deep blow to her, even though in a war, losses happen for no reason sometimes. Every patient who recovered and smiled again made her career worth it, though. That was the reason she came to work with a smile on her face and hope in her heart. Things could always be worse. I appreciate that, Dr. I don't think I'm anymore stressed than any other ship's Commander. Stress goes with the territory. I'd prefer not to rely on any medications, I want to stay sharp. I guess that leaves the counselor. ::He tried not to smirk.:: You know, I think that might be a great idea. She did mention some things for stress and I'd like to look deeper into that. I will see the counselor at the first available opportunity. Thank you, Dr. Unless there's anything else, I need to get back to the bridge. The crew is arriving and I'll be calling a meeting of the senior staff as soon as everyone's on board. ::He rose and began to head out to return to the bridge.::

"You made the right decision, sir." She enters the records in the database and puts away her tricorder. She wouldn't allow anyone to become dependant on any sort of medication on her ship, but the decision to not want to become so was his. Occasional sleep aids were fine, though, especially since some people dislike counseling as much as others dislike sickbay. All that matters to her is the end result, that the crew is well rested and healthy.
He gets up from the biobed. "I'll come up to the meeting soon, sir." She watches him leave sickbay as she finishes with the database and gets a list of who needs to come in. Then she tells an assistant where she can be found, and returns to the bridge.

::As she made her way to the bridge Torianna thoughts went to how strangely quiet the hallways of the Optimus seemed now. So many had come and gone since she had come aboard and the crewmembers of the Guardian and the Tahoe had been rescued. Faces passed through her mind like a slideshow as she thought of those that she had met, some she knew had become friends but all faces that would remain with her forever.
She knew that she had followed the right path for her in becoming a Counselor, knowing in her heart that she had helped many of the survivors find a way to begin dealing with the horrors of the war with the impostors and with their loss. The road back to normalcy would be a long one but many were traveling that road at a steady pace, it was the few that seemed lost that worried her most.
As she stepped off the turbolift and onto the bridge, a soft greeting and smile would she give to the bridge crew, some of them she had already met and some she had yet to meet. She exchanged conversation with several before turning to head to the Ready Room when one of the crew smiled and told her that if she were looking for the Commander, that he had left with Dr. Jackson and he believed they were heading to sickbay. Torianna smiled as she replied.::Thank you, Ensign. ::Torianna pressed on her comm badge.:: Commander Dantara, Lt. JG Torianna reporting in for duty. I am preparing to leave the bridge and will be in my office shortly. Torianna out. ::She gave a smile to all those she passed as she walked to the turbolift, leaving the bridge and the bridge crew who were all working at their stations making preparations to leave Starbase 141 for their next mission. Torianna made her way to her office.::
::Brock hit his commbadge as he headed for the bridge.::ACO*T*CNS> Acknowledged, Lt. I'll be calling a meeting of the Senior staff as everyone assembles. And counselor, Dr Jackson reccommends that I see you so please put me on your appointment schedule. She's a very good Dr. and who am I to defy her wisdom? ::He smiles:: Dantara out.

::Torianna heard Brock's voice and immediately her lips curled upwards in a soft smile. She reached to her commbadge and depressed it to respond.::
CNS> +T+ ACO> Acknowledged, Commander. I am, at the present time, in my office and of course, available to respond when you call the meeting. As for Dr. Jackson, I agree she is a fine Doctor and believe you are wise not to question or defy her wisdom. ::Torianna chuckled softly, the sound carried over the comm to him.:: My appointment schedule right now is very light so if you would tell me a time that best suits your duty schedule, I am certain that we can make arrangements for you to be "seen". ::She smiled:: Torianna out.

::Brock was on the bridge in the Command chair looking over the last set of dignostics. The plasma injectors had been refitted and levels were where he wanted them. He was also satisfied with the additonal supplies she had the station deliver.::
::He hadn't heard back from the Admiral and hoped that all was well with him, but there we people out there who needed help and it was time for the Optimus to begin her mission.::
::He hit the shipwide comm.:: This is Commander Dantara, all senior staff to the ready room.
::He took his PADDs in hand and headed to the ready room. He thought about his new quarters with a real water shower. It brought a smirk to his lips.::

She heard the call to the situation room and squezzed Xxavian's hand knowing that this was it. The first time they would be serving togeather in this way with their feelings kind of out in the open. The walk was breif togeather and befor she knew it they were both in the room taking their respective places.

She sets sickbay to order as she recieves the comm. She tells her staff to continue with organizing their new inventory and goes to the ready room. She quietly takes a seat along one side, next to Alex, whom she remembers when he visited sickbay with a minor injury. She smiles at him with a nod and waits for the meeting to start.

::Torianna's lips curl upwards in a soft smile when she heard his voice come over the Shipwide Comm system and her thoughts turned to their time in the Suite on Starbase 141. She quickly chases away those thoughts, knowing she could easily become engulfed within them and logs out of the data bank where she had been updating records.
As she prepares to leave her office she glances around, pausing for a moment before leaving for the meeting, the moment spent thinking of those she had met since coming aboard the Optimus. The recent war had taken so much from so many, she found herself hoping that all of them would be able to chase away the horrors and begin to live again, finding happiness like she and Brock had. The moment gone, she exited her office and walked to the turbolift, taking it to the bridge as she made her way to the Ready Room.
Upon entering, she gave a soft smile and greeting to those gathered, an introduction made to those she had not yet met. Looking at Alex and Dr. Jackson as they sat side by side:: Hello Captain and Dr. Jackson. ::She then looked to Commander Arroway and Lt. Commander Rivers.:: Hello, I am Lt. JG Torianna, the Optimus' CNS. It is a pleasure to meet the two of you. ::Torianna then moved to an empty chair and took a seat, waiting for Brock to arrive and the meeting to begin.::
