She stayed seated in her chair but made her voice easyly heard by all who were present in the room. I am Lt. Commander Christina Rivers. I was born on Earth and raised there. Enrolled in the accadamy and graduated with commander critification. I was assigned to sevearl deep space posts on various space stations and science vessels before I desided to become the second in Command of the USS Numeria before it was destroyed, so that means I served under Xxavian at his request. Now I am here on the Optimus as the Versital Specalist, which means no duty shift will ever be the same for me. I like that in my work...keeps me going so to speak. I look forward to working with and for you all here in this room and the crew that isn't present as well. When she was done speaking there was a slight smile on her face as she looked at Alex to see what he had to say. She was anticpating his ever present personality to be a big part of his introduction. Thank you, Commander Rivers. I'm very happy to have you and Xaaven on the ship, I'm glad you are used to working as a team. Once again I'm sorry about Numeria, but I'm glad that all of you have come out ot this war OK. Ships are far more easily built than good officers.::Brock grinned:: It certainly is, Alex. If there is anyone on this ship you want to get drunk with, it's this man. ::laughs::Alex and I were on Guardian together, and, like him, I didn't need too much convincing form Capt. Washington either. I loved my job on the Concord, but I was given a chance to learn from the best. If it weren't for Capt Washington, I wouldn't be sitting here right now.::He paused a moment, taking a breath, thinking about his old Captain and how fast things moved over such a short space of time, and how it wasn't fair that a man like Washington was taken away in this war. He realized he was still angry, and would discuss this with Tori. He had to, for he knew that even now she was sensing what he felt and she would question him later. The fact that he could hide nothing from her didn't bother him at all.::Alright, then. As most of you know, we will be bringing relief and medical supplies to colonies and bases that have been attacked during the war, or just cut off from any support. Our first destination is Starbase 714.::He pulls up a star chart on the area.:: It's in sector 41, and as you can see,: :Points to the chart:: Federation in that sector was sparse to begin with. During the war, The area was cut off by the Impostors, Our ships were unable to reach or help the base.Recently, we've picked up what we think is a distress call from the base. The signal is weak, so we think that they are probably low on power but if the distress calls are correct, somebody's still alive out there.
If the base is not badly damaged, we will attempt to effect repairs. Other wise we find the survivors and get them out of there. We also have to deliver supplies to Marcus XII as well. They have suffered a severe impostor attack and need medical attention as fast as we can get it to them.::He turned off the screen and sat back down at his desk.::Now I know this probably going to be a milk run except for the actual delivery of the supplies, aside from that, this should be an uneventful mission. What I want everyone to bear in mind, is the fact that the fleet is down, patrols are sparse, and we're heading into a part of the Alpha quadrant that is relatively open.
This being the case, I want everyone's eyes open, and I'd like you all to think of any emergency you can think of, and then some you can't.A lot of people are depending on what we do, so let's just be prepared for anything. With this crew I don't plan on having anything to worry about.
Questions?

::Torianna listened as Brock spoke of Alex, glancing over at the Bolian, who now serves as the Marine Captain aboard the Optimus, with a smile. This was one time that Torianna found herself disagreeing with Brock, but it was not a difference of opinion that she would voice here at the meeting because it was of a personal nature. It was her opinion that there is only one man on this ship that she would want to get drunk with and although she believed that Alex might be fun to get drunk with, he would not be the "anyone" that she would choose.
Her full attention quickly returned to Brock and she immediately sensed the emotions he was feeling. She could sense not only his sadness but a deep rooted anger within him as well, as he very briefly spoke of the Guardian and his former commander, Captain Washington. Torianna had never had the privilege of meeting Captain Washington, but from the tales of him she had been told by the survivors of the Guardian, she felt certain that if she had been given the opportunity, it would have been a pleasurable experience and one she would not have soon, if ever, forgotten.
As she watched Brock push his emotions aside to begin talking of their mission, she knew that they would speak of them later. She completely understood both the sadness and the anger but knew that talking through the reasons were beneficial and she cared about him too much to allow him to bear his burdens alone. For now though, she would set her concern for him aside and listen as he gave them the details of their current mission.
Her gaze followed closely as Brock brought up the starchart and pointed out their first destination which was Starbase 714. She listened as he told them of the weak signal received that was believed to be a distress signal. As Brock continued to tell they that they believe the Starbase may just be low on power, Torianna tried to push away her thoughts that it may be something else and hoped for the best along with the others.
She nodded as Brock explained that although the mission was a milk run with the purpose to deliver supplies, that anything could happen and asked for them all to think ahead in case this proved to be more than just a "milk run".
When Brock had finished and asked if there were any questions, she waited for a moment or two and when no one spoke up, she spoke up softly, asking her questions.
Commander, when was the weak signal, believed to be a distress call, received and what amount of time will pass between receiving that signal and our estimated time of arrival at our destination, Starbase 714?

Commander, when was the weak signal, believed to be a distress call, received and what amount of time will pass between receiving that signal and our estimated time of arrival at our destination, Starbase 714?
During the war we had lost contact with 714 and she was believed to be lost. We recieved a signal just after the Imposter ships began to self destruct. The transmission is garbled, We can't get a clear message from them.
As far as our ETA, that isn't a problem. 714 is a good way from here, but Optimus is equipped with a Borg inspired transwarp drive. We should get there in a little over a day.
I intend to do a transwarp jump to the edge of the sector and then slow to warp and begin running long range scans as we head toward the Starbase.
We really won't know the full situation until we arrive, and that's why I want to be prepared for anything.
Any other questions? If not, then we'll start procedures to get underway.::He glanced around the room to see if anyone else had anything.::

"I have no questions sir." She waits for dismissal, the sickbay inventory on the top of her mind. She would be glad to get that off her to-do list.

She found herself thinking of those stationed on Starbase 714 and hoping that they had not given up hope on help arriving, knowing well of the devastating affects possible on the psyche of those that give up hope. She was prepared to help, in any way she could, no matter what they found upon their arrival to the Starbase. Her lips curled upward in a soft smile as she heard that Brock was planning to use a transwarp jump and that it would take them just a little over a day to arrive at the Starbase. Thank you for answering my questions, Commander. I am ready to assist in any way I can and will do my best to prepare for anything that we might discover upon our arrival at the Starbase.
I have no further questions, Commander. ::Torianna glanced around the room and when she found all eyes were on Brock, she too gave him her full attention, that special twinkle remaining and she gave him a wink as their eyes met for a brief moment. Alright then, ::Brock smiled boyishly.:: If there are no more questions, then let's get to work.
Xavven, you'll be acting XO, as well as CTAC. Christina, you are listed as a VS. You'll be taking the helm. Both you and Xavven will share OPS. Coordinate that as you see fit.
Capt Alex, you are, of course Marine commander, and you'll also be doubling as CSEC.
Dr Jackson, you have a background in the sciences as well as medicine. You'll be acting CSCI in addition to CMO if needed. Your medical duties come first, of course.
Sara, Get the engines warmed up and run a last minute diagnostic on the transwarp and the cloak.
Torianna. Please begin making appointments with the command staff so that you get to know everyone.
People, sometimes we get wounded and don't realize just how hurt we are until much later. This war has hurt all of us in ways we haven't even realized yet.
This is why I want everyone to speak to the counselor. It's her job to help us all cope with things when it isn't all that easy to do.
I'm not saying you have to spill your guts or tell your life story, Just talk. Give the Lt a chance to earn your trust as she has earned mine.
Company dismissed. All hands to stations and prepare status reports. Commander Rivers, please contact the base and let them know we await departure clearance. Also, send a message to the Admiral and let him know we are preparing to leave.
::Brock stood as the officers began to file out of the Ready Room.::

She sat quitely in the conferance room and then once was dismissed got up to take up the post of Helm on the bridge releaving the ensign from his post. She familiarized herself with the controls and tied in some of operations into her consul before carring out the orders she was given. She desided to start with the Admrial and opened an internal ships comm to him.
Helm+T+Admeril> Sir this is Lt. Commander Rivers I just wanted to let you know we are preparing for deparchure.
Her hands flew across her controls like she was born to be flying and talking at the sametime. Temperarly closing that one she opened up an external comm to Starbase.
Operations USS Optimus +T+Starbase Operations> This is the USS Optimus to Starbase Operations we are requesting departure clearnace and insturctions. We are ready to go.
She then closed that comm temperarly as well so just encase they wanted to respond back right away they could and she wouldn't have to open up another frequency. She then busyed herself in the mean time while she was sure the rest of the crew was getting to their stations with the flight contorls of the Optimus. The ship was something special and she wanted to make sure that she drove the ship right when it came time to do that.

Sara would get down into the engine room and start doing dianostics and warming up trhe engines. She would get that done and then work on the Dianostic for the transwarp drive. She would run the test and fine everything is fine and just fix some minor problems she found. She told her staff to watch the warp core when they enter transwarp.

She stands when they are dismissed and goes toward sickbay. She arrives in sickbay a few minutes later. She was greeted by a mess of boxes that were being unpacked and shelves that were being completely restocked and organized as inventory was taking place. She goes to a shelf that was restocked, counted and reorganized and checks it to make sure everything was in a good place. She smiles. "Excellent job everyone. Let's get this finished and cleaned up before we run into any problems with patients."

Alex sat in silence having been in one too many of these meetings in his life he knew where his input really counted on the go not sitting planning out the situation to come. He was a fighter and now more then ever his mind was set on the safety of the crew. Just like old times, but this time he didn't know the people who he was giving orders too that great yet. He left the room and stood outside the hall to comm the people who he would be relying on to help him coordinate movements in the ship.
His first comm was to Lt. Constantine.
This is Marine Captain Alex, before you get all huffy young lady I've been put in charge of your division. Security is now my concern. I want you to be my ears and eyes in there. You are to be their team leader. I will be on the bridge for guidance and on the go instructions. Day to day operations is your duty. I've been in your position before Constantine when I was half your age. I know you can do it. I got faith in you to coordinate with the marine team leader 2nd Lt. Falk, which I'll have a talk to shortly. For now business as normal until instructed otherwise.
He then closed that comm and opened another one up to 2nd Lt. Falk.
Falk this is Alex we're on the go now. We are to coordinate with security in keeping this ship safe and everyone in it in one peace. The team leader is Lt. Constantine. You got problems with the security men not acting ship shape then you go to her before coming to me with the dispute. I will be station on the bridge for now I am watching over your butt and her butt at the same time. You know what that means young man. Time to show me your metal. Space Marines will run them selfs the others you might have to babysit a few moments to get it though that your their boss man and if they sneeze the wrong way you'll know about it. Major disagreements defer back to me. I wouldn't leave you down there with no more then toilet paper if I didn't think you couldn't handle the job. Now get to it soldier. Time to put training into action.
He closed the comm took a deep breath and situated his duty uniform so he would look like a presentable person before heading to the security station on the bridge. Something told him before it was all said and done he would be reliving the past in more then one way. Young people under his command, a commander old as dirt...heck he was home for all intensive purposes. Back at his roots the old codger finally felt like he was useful again.

Brock Dantara: ::Brock reclined in his chair as he watched the last of his command staff file out the Ready room door. Only Torianna remained in the office with him.:: I wonder if Admiral Malc is even going to come aboard. Maybe he needs a little more rest than he thought. If anyone deserves it, He does. Unless....could he be testing me somehow? I mean technically he's supposed to be with us, and I'm faced with the situation of either waiting for the Admiral, or starting the mission since time is of the essence, so maybe this is another "Kobayashi Maru" test. Not that severe, of course, but do I sound crazy? maybe I'm thinking too much. ::He smiled to her, knowing he'd probably get the answer he needed.:: Torianna: ::Torianna watched as the other officers filed out of the Ready Room, when the last one had gone, she turned to Brock with a smile as she listened to him speak of Admiral Malc. When he finished, she began to speak in her soft tone.:: I have not been given an opportunity to speak with Admiral Malc since the war ended so I have no way of knowing whether he requires more rest or if he has just chosen to enjoy more. I do agree that he deserves it, no matter which is true. ::She paused for a moment before continuing.:: It could very well be a test, Brock since you are indeed faced with making a decision and making one soon. I have sensed, since first hearing of our mission, that time is indeed of the essence... ::She chuckled softly.:: but I do not see it as another "Kobayashi Maru" test for that test is a "no win" situation and this situation, my Sh'aud, could definitely have winners, if we arrive in time to help any that may be aboard the Starbase. I will ask you one question and perhaps that will help you to decide...... If Admiral Malc was in danger, even a life threatening position and you had to make a decision to save his life or leave him to save the life of many, which decision would the Admiral himself want you to make? ::She grew silent for a moment, giving him time to think before she responded to his last comment.:: You are not crazy at all, Brock. A good Commander is always thinking, always planning and always attempting to keep one step ahead of any possible situation that may arise. Brock Dantara: ::He nodded, smiling and considering her wise words.:: No, I wasn't suggesting that this is anywhere near as severe a test as the Kobayashi-Maru. I just used that as an example of a test that Starfleet sometimes pulls without telling you. there are many kinds of tests, depending on the situation. I don't expect any real "Danger" like a Romulan Warbird or anything. As far as your question concerning the Admiral, Knowing the type of man he is, I don't think he'd live too well with himself if he knew his survival was at the cost of many lives, nor would I for that matter. And the type of decision you are describing is one I hope I never have to make. The Vulcans have a saying: "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one." I would hate to have to sacrifice someone to save other lives, but Captains have been making that decision for centuries now, and no matter how advanced we get, and how fast we make our ships, that decision will never get any easier. ::He leaned forward, smiling into her eyes and rubbing her forearm a little.:: It's funny you should bring all this up. When I was the CENG on the Concord, We were on a mission in the Gamma quadrant pursuing three Tosk hunter vessels who has stolen some top secret technology from DS 9. We took one hell of a beating initially, and I lost an assistant in a plasma fire. The engine room was sparking like new year's eve, I was running around like a half crazed Capellan power cat trying to keep systems online. Anyway, I blamed myself for Hendrix's death. I felt that as the CENG, I was responsible for my staff and did my best to keep them out of danger. Fortunately, Ardanans have a bit more tolerance for radiation than do humans. I evacuated my crew, along with MorVaQ, who was leading the marines against a boarding party, and stayed in there myself to reroute a plasma conduit before it blew as well. ::Took a pause to breathe.:: I beat myself up very badly for the loss of that man. I later found out, during repairs, that if I had left what I was doing to help him, or prevent his death, a far more devastating explosion would have taken place, and I, MorVaQ, Alex, Mellisari, Capt Danrea, everyone on board would have died in the Gamma quadrant. Of course, when I learned that, it eased the pain somewhat, but I still get flashbacks of the last thing I saw. Hendrix standing over his panel, then a flash of plasma, then....no Hendrix. I did the right thing on that day, but I still can't stand the idea of having to decide who lives and who dies. I suppose it goes with the territory. We all come into Starfleet knowing full well that we could die out here. ::He leaned forward and kissed her.:: thank you for letting me ramble again. ::Smiles:: Torianna: ::Torianna chuckled softly:: I did not think that you were making a direct comparison between the Kobayashi Maru and the possibility that the current situation dealing with the absence of Admiral Malc may be a test of your Command decisions. I do believe that your reference between the two may very well be correct in that I do sense it is a test for you but I have no doubt that you will indeed win this one. ::She then paused a moment and looked about to make certain none of the other officers had returned.:: As for not expecting any real "Danger", Brock, I think you need to always expect the worse so that you can avoid being taken by surprise. I know I do not have to tell you that real "Danger" can come from sources much smaller than a Romulan Warbird. ::She smiled at him as he sat relaxing in the chair.:: The Vulcans have a very logical way to look at things, some which other species would not comprehend but that one would make sense to most. ::She nodded:: Sacrifice never has been and never will be an easy decision, especially for a Commanding Officer. ::She looked into his eyes as she smiled into hers, then looked down as his leaned forward and rubbed her forearm. She listened with interest as he told the tale of the Concord, when he was CENG. She sensed the pain he still found deep down in regards to Hendrix death but she also knew that it no longer ate away at him, that he had indeed made peace with himself, although he still did not like the memory that triggered the flashbacks of Hendrix standing over his panel. She would work with him in time to help those flashbacks become a thing of the past.:: I do not doubt at all that you did the right thing that day and that it was your instincts and command abilities that prevented a much more devastating end result. Talking of such things helps, Brock, as does meditation and sometimes hypnosis. We can talk more of those options when the need for them arises. And yes, I am certain that all Starfleet officers and crew as well have thought at one time or another as we entered service that there was indeed a possibility that we could die out here. ::She leaned in to meet him as he leaned forward, their lips meeting in a tender kiss.:: You do not have to thank me for listening to you, Sh'aud. I wish to share everything with you.....the good as well as the bad. ::She smiled softly.:: Brock Dantara: ::He rubbed the back of her head, as they kissed. When it ended, he looked deep into her eyes, then rubbed her nose with his, then sat back, beginning to pile his PADDS into a stack as he would be taking them to the bridge soon.:: You know, ::He took the last of his lemon tea,:: For some reason I can't help but think of something from the academy. We were studying the Borg. Each one of us had to do some kind of a report, along with a Quote that pertained to the Borg. For some reason I chose a quote from this being called a "Q". The Enterprise had encountered this one on several occasions. In fact, it was this "Q" that actually introduced us to the Borg, had we not known they would be heading this way, we'd have been taken by surprise and there would be no Federation right now. Any way, this Q tells Picard:"If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires, both subtle and gross, but it's not for the timid." I never forgot that quote. It challenged me. It made me want to come out here even that much more. I think I can handle the bloody noses. But you know, that Q is right. It's not safe out here but I feel more safe now than ever because I have you. Your love and support to me, have more power than any quantum torpedo could muster, and I have much to be grateful for, and you've reminded me of that. Just don't ever let me forget it. ::grins:: As far as meditation, I learned a little about that from my Sensei, to clear you mind for combat, but maybe I need to learn another method of meditation. As far as hypnosis, I know little about that, except the stories I've heard about people who got hypnotized and went around thinking they were a Bajoran Vedek for a few hours. You wouldn't do that to me, would you? ::He laughs:: Torianna: ::She was lost in the moment, as they shared a sweet kiss and he gently rubbed the back of her head. As the kiss ended, they shared a deep gaze before he rubbed her nose with his own. She giggled as he sat back and began to pile the PADDs into a stack that she knew he would take with him to the bridge. She smiled, remembering all the reports she too had done while attending the Academy.:: I can understand how that quote challenged you and also fed your desires. I know that you can handle the bloody noses, Brock and much more as well. ::Torianna felt a soft warm blush rise to her cheeks as he went on.:: I also know it is not safe out here Brock, but I feel more safe and secure than I ever have and it is because I have you now to stand beside me, to love and protect me. I will never allow you to forget that I am right here for you and I will never give you reason to doubt or question my love and support. ::Her laughter than joined with his as she listened to him speak of meditation and hypnosis.:: There are many forms of meditation and we could meditate together sometime if you would like, I would also be more than happy to teach you some of the more popular methods and as for hypnosis... ::She giggled softly.:: I promise to never have you walking around thinking you are a Bajoran Vedek. ::Getting up and walking to the back of his chair, she began to massage his neck and shoulders for the few minutes they would have remaining before reporting for duty.:: Brock Dantara: MMMMmmmm ::Brock purred as she began to massage his shoulders.:: That's wonderful. You know you're spoiling me, don't you? And I like the thought of us meditating together. It sounds like a very tranquilizing thing to look forward to. If you like, I, in turn will give you some advanced hand to hand training, and show you how to use a sword, if you don't already know. That, too, is relaxing, believe it or not. Sword practice is very contemplative. Unfortunately, right now, I need to put this massage on "pause" and collect the rest of it after duty shift. ::He stood smiling:: Believe me, I could sit here and let you do that all day. I just can't afford to fall asleep before we launch! ::Laughs, puts his arm around her:: And I want to tell you again what a great time I had on the holodeck with you. It was wonderful to see Stratos through your eyes, I felt exhilarated. It just makes me want to show you the real thing evens more. ::He squeezed her with one arm and kissed her cheek.:: You know, you being with me on Stratos with me, It just feels so.....right. Someday, after many adventures hopping around the Galaxy, When we mellow a little, we will return there and make it our home, We'll spend the remainder of our days under beautiful sunrises and Cinnamon skies, and I will love and cherish you for the rest of my life, ::Kisses her:: "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be." Torianna: ::Torianna smiled as she heard Brock purring.:: I am glad you enjoy it because I love giving massages. As for spoiling you, I have only begun and can one truly be spoiled with love? ::She nodded:: I look forward to meditating with you and I agree it will be very tranquilizing thing for both of us. ::Her eyes twinkled brightly.:: I would love some advanced hand to hand training Brock and would very much like to learn how to use a sword. ::She leaned down and kissed the top of his head as he told her that they needed to put the massage on pause until after their duty shifts. She looked up into his eyes as he stood and placed his arm around her.:: Brock, I love everything about Stratos and cannot wait until we actually go there. I look forward to seeing your parents again as well. ::She smiled and put her arm around his waist and squeezed him back as he kissed her cheek.:: Yes Sh'aud, being with you on Stratos does feel so right and although I look forward to the many adventures we will share before the time comes for us to settle down and make a home for ourselves, home will be wherever you are but I will also look forward to spending the remainder of our days on Stratos, enjoying the beautiful sunrises and the cinnamon skies. ::She returned his kiss.:: My love for you will grow stronger each day and will last throughout eternity. I look forward to spending each and every day of my life with you Brock but now, I think you have a ship to launch. ::She smiled as they walked toward the door together.::

Alex was on the bridge now he logged into the security consul when he heard a comm. come in.
This is Lt. Constantine to Marine Captain Alex. All security personnel have reported in and are in their teams on all desks as well as patrols, sir.
He nodded before replying.
Well done Lt. now the real fun begins. Have patrols rotate and be unpredictable as to when they will be at what part of the ship. As for stationed parties make sure they have a lock down on all sensitive areas of the ship. I'm sure 2nd Lt. Falk will have Marines stationed there as well. Have your men work with them to keep any non-authorized personal from entering those areas. We aren't flying as of yet but there still is room for shady dealings to happen.
She commed back.
Aye sir will get right on it. Anything else?
He smiled glad to hear an eager younger on the other end.
Yes, one more thing. Any surprises you throw at them make sure I know about it. I'm watching on internal sensors what's going on down there.
There was one more aye sir before the comm went dead and Alex was left watching blips on the screen. They were colored according to department. Which made it essayer for him to track marines, security, and other personal running around the ship. He saw the station colored ones all heading toward exists that told him that it wouldn't be too long before the ship would heading out. He was starting to get all absorbed with the dots when another comm came in.
This is Falk to Alex. Captain, the men are ready. They have all reported in. The Space Marines are on their rotation to train. The others are moving out into their respective posts. I have let them know of the situation and they got your ace should you need it, sir. As for tolitpaper I had the station personnel replace the roll that was gone in the wast facility. Any additional orders or notices before they fall out and get on the move?
Alex couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the since of humor the man had before comming back.
Just remember to behave with security. Especially in key areas. If you see something go on wrong then let the immediate supervisor know. Follow the chain of command at all times and keep your gear on straight. Who knows what Constantine has up her sleeve let alone what I got in store as well as the mission. Train them hard Falk I want to hear complaints about bruises and sore backs when I get down there.
Falk commed back with a smile in his voice.
Will do sir anything else?
Alex paused for a moment looked at the pilot of the vessel saw who it was smiled and then commed back.
Don't forget to flush. Marine Captain Alex out.
He closed the comm before hearing the reaction. He knew that a good natured joke like that could go along way when just comming off a leave and going back into work. As for him it was back to planning and looking at dots for a while.

Christina took the time at the helm consul to go ahead and tie in operations to her consul as well. She knew that Xxavian had been preoccupied with things as of late and that perhaps handling the XO and Tac spots would be enough for him to handle.
She got to familiarizing herself with both sets of controls so in a pinch she could switch from using one controls to the others without having to put the ship in neutral. The bridge was quite and Alex was taping away on his consul she could hear it but other then that not much was going on that she was aware of. Station personnel were making their way off the bridge an onto exists off the ship. The operations master at the base and the Admiral both weren't talking right now. She wasn't too concerned for she was sure the crew was getting on board or getting into their places still. Ship this size might take a while for things to happen.
She got lost in what she was doing and momentarily forgot she was on a starship bridge and began to hum as she look at the controls only to stop when she saw the viewer in front of her. Mentally she scolded herself for the act but at the same time she couldn't help but psychically react by putting a smile on her face. Perhaps this ship will last longer then that last one she was on. That was her hope now only time would tell if that was true or if she was just dreaming again.

::As Torianna left the Ready Room with Brock, her eyes twinkled brightly, reflecting the smile that was upon her face. Torianna could not remember ever feeling happier than she was now.
As she walked across the bridge, heading to the turbolift, she heard Christina humming and the soft sound made Torianna's smile grow even brighter. The sound of Marine Captain Alex tapping away at his console was a welcomed sound as well and Torianna sensed at that moment that the crew of the Optimus was indeed ready for their new mission. Not wanting to interrupt, she gave both Alex and Christina a nod and a smile before stepping onto the turbolift to report to her office where she would begin to schedule appointments for each of the crew as Brock had ordered.::
