Admiral Malc walked onto the bridge, and made a bee-line for the command-chair, which was currently occupied by a Lieutenant.
The Lieutenant stood quickly, and moved aside saying:
"Admiral on deck"
"At ease" Admiral Malc said quickly as he took a seat in the command chair, and began tapping keys on the command console.
He looked to the Lieutenant, who had moved to the helm's chair, displacing another crewmember, an ensign, who had moved to the open science console:
"Lieutenant, set a course for sector oo1, mark 015, warp six, and engage."
"sector 001, mark 015, warp six.....engaging sir." The lieutenant said as her slight hands moved quickly and effortlessly across the helm's console.
The Admiral looked to the ensign who had just moved from the helm's chair, to man the science and operations console(s):
"Ensign, when we are within 50,000 meters of sector 001, notify me, and send out a standard communication to the USS Guardian, informing them that we have arrived.
Yes sir. The ensign said loudly, as he straightened himself in his chair now that he was being relied upon by the admiral.
The ensign felt his heart skip a little as he entered the necessary protocols to ensure that the sub-space communication was delivered precisely as he had been told. This was his first assignment, and he was getting to work under Admiral Malc and Colonel Barada....they had both been answers on one of his tests at the academy.
Admiral Malc turned to one of the space marines that had taken positions on either side of the turbo-lift. They were there to protect him, and even though he didnt feel the need for it, he would listen to his XO, and that was his advice.....but he didn't have to let them sit around being useless:
"Marine... Admiral Malc said to the space marine on the right side of the turbo-lift.
"Man the security console, and the tactical, begin a four-pattern sensor sweep for invaders....if you get any on the sensors, notify the helm, so she can adjust the course."
"Sir!" The Marine said, as he moved without another word to the security station, and began sensor sweeps.

::Sergeant Major Porter moved to the security station and began the sensor sweeps as ordered. In truth he was very much glad to be doing something besides holding up on side of the turbolift door. A Space Marine liked to feel useful, and unlike popular belief, space marines were extremely versatile.::
::Porter called out to helm, picking up a contact very quickly, and fed the coordinates to the console. The console beeped and Porter pulled up the screen. It contained instructions from the Colonel. The instructions contained sensor settings and sweep patterns. Porter didn't know exactly what he was looking for, but he had confidence in the Colonel's judgment.::

She was in her quarters on the Rihannsu BoP, gathering the last of her belongings. After she finished she went to the console and opened a sub-space message.

Translation into Standard Federation: My family,
I am unsure when I'll return form my current assignment. The Tal'shair has seen fit to have me work with the Federation, for the good of the Empire. I will of course work to bring honor and glory to the both the empire and you my family. I will send you communicates when I can. And have many interesting stories to tell my siblings. May the Elements guide us Always your daughter. Reha
She reminded herself that soon they would be at the transfer point and as instructed she would forgo the use of Rihannsu unless it was for reports. Once again she wondered why she was chosen. Not once had she expressed a desire to work among them.
Well, it was not the time to ponder on such things. It was instead the time for her to fulfill the will of the Empire and the Elements. This she would do. Her chimes rang and a Uhlan came in taking her duffel bag.
"Rehkkai, it is time for you to leave."
"le, so it is."
She followed him out, to shuttle bay 1. Then she looked around one last time wondering when she would see the inside a Rihannsu vessel again. She got inside the shuttle and strapped in. The pilot got clearance and then left.
"USS Optimus this is the Romulan Shuttle Stromwind. We have erei'Riov Reha Khev with us for transfer. Request permission to dock."
"RSE Stormwind permission granted proceed to docking area."
As the shuttle docked she took a deep breath and asked the Elements to guide and watch over her. Life was about to change.
"Rehkkai we have docked."
She nodded her acknowledgment, then she got out and looked around. She was greeted by a crewman who took her things and lead the way to her quarters.

Fritz had taken the OPS station a few moments before the transmission Arrived:
"USS Optimus this is the Romulan Shuttle Strom-wind. We have erei'Riov Reha Khev with us for transfer. Request permission to dock."
Fritz had given the shuttle permission and set the ensign down to greet the Romulan who was soon to be a part of the Optimus crew.
"Admiral the Shuttle has docked, and the Sub-Commander is being shown to her quarters. The Romulan shuttle Storm-wind Is requesting permission to leave.
The admiral gave Fritz a slight nod, indicating his approval, and Fritz immediately gave the shuttle the requested clearance.
Once the shuttle was clear, Fritz informed the Admiral and the Lieutenant at Helm that the shuttle was now clear of the Optimus.

Once the Shuttle was clear, Admiral Malc looked to the Young Lieutenant at the Helm, and said:
"Resume course and speed Lieutenant."
The Lieutenant gave a nod and said: "Aye, Admiral."
Admiral Malc tapped a few keys on the command-console, closing his personal access, and opening general access.
He stood, turning to Lt.Sheldon.
"Mr. Sheldon, You have the bridge. Inform The Sub-Commander and Colonel Barada that they are wanted in the ready-room."
With that, Malc headed for the Turbo-Lift, and as the doors slid shut behind him, Lt. Sheldon completed his orders. He nodded his approval to himself, then said:
"Deck two"

She was in her quarters after unpacking half of her things she went to the environmental controls and made a slight adjustment. She smiled as she felt the slight change.
"Now this is better."
She finished her unpacking and then went to the replicator. Since she was alone she spoke in her native tongue, mostly to see if it could understand her. A simple test she learned while in the War College. Except, this time it was to see if they anticipated her desire to eat the cuisine of ch'Rihan.
"Awaenndraev, hholaer (computer coffee). Has three times the stimulant of espresso) irriuf (like mousse, served ice cold, and sliced).
The replicator hummed to life and she smiled. Taking her dessert to the table she thought this might not be as bad as she originally thought. For her it was the equivalent of 9 P.M. The food was very good.
While she ate, she received the comm.
Tapping on it. "On my way."
Taking the remainder of her irriuf placing it in the reclaimer, she took a large gulp of the hholaer, then placed that in the reclaimer.
She left her quarters to find her way to the ready room.

::The Romulan shuttle had departed. And the Optimus prepared foe a new arrival. The approach vector was plotted, and the Deck officer trusted that what he thought was happening was happening. He was not unfamiliar with the process as whatever it was signaled its clearance.::
::Minutes later something winked into existence on the flight deck. It was space black, sleek and deadly looking. It was technically a Type-16 shuttle, also known as a 'Stealth Shuttle.' It was loaded to the teeth with weaponry and countermeasures, and was technically the first Starfleet shuttle to be equipped with the Holographic Shield System.::

Admiral Malc exited the turbo-lift with a lot of things on his mind.
As he entered the bridge and headed for the command-chair, Lieutenant Fritz Sheldon stood, and walked over to the operations console.
Admiral Malc took a seat, and quickly entered his authorization into the command-console, then looked to the Lieutenant, who was hunched over the Operations-console:
"Report, Mr. Sheldon." The admiral said crisply.

Fritz saw the Admiral exit the lift, and as he did so, Fritz stood up, and went to the Operations-console."Report" The Admiral said. "Sir, while you were away, we were forced to go into cloak-mode, and alter our course, as there was a small armada of invader-ships, approximately 40 of them, all headed in the general direction of Star-Base 39, and the Sierra outposts. We are coming up on echo-1 and Vulcan , and have an ETA of approximately 4 fours till we reach p.o.d. Sir."

Admiral Malc listened to the report seemingly with disinterest. He tapped his command console, and noted the regional commander in the area where the invader-ships were heading.
"Mr. Sheldon, inform Commander J'Den of the USS Chimaira that he will have some company in his region soon.... after that, send your information to Colonel Barada, so he can update the other regional commanders of this situation....there may be a correlation."
When the Admiral was finished speaking to the Lieutenant, he tapped his Comm-badge:
" Sub Commander Reha Khev , to the bridge."

::Colonel Barada, spycorder in hand, stepped up beside the Admiral.::
"Admiral, Sierra Sector is adjacent to Sol Sector Fleet's patrol area, as such, Captain Washington already dispatched two battlegroups to deal with the incursion. The action was successful. I have quartered the report to you."
"Also, we have been getting word back from the Analysis Section on some of the Intel that we have been collecting. taking it point by point sir."
"One, we have recovered debris from the Impostor ships. Apparently their ships contain some type of lead-based alloy that interferes with our sensor scans. We have plugged in a scanning subroutine and discovered that the invaders are indeed carbon-based lifeforms. They read, remarkably, as basic humanoids, not unlike you or I."
"Two, a preliminary analysis of the enemy's new weapon has been completed and distributed to the Fleet. We are collecting Intel on the results of encounters sine that came out."
'And three, unrelated to the specific mission as it stands, but I feel it necessary to point out. If these invaders have been able to gather the information to mimic our ships, or weaponry and formulate a plan to kidnap our president, then they may have infiltrated Starfleet Command, and/or the Federation Council. This is pure speculation, Admiral. But I feel it my duty to point out."

He nodded his head to the Colonel, indicating he was to join him, and together they head3ed for the turbo-lift.
