Admiral's log stardate:64103.88 -
I Have contacted Starbase-141 and given orders to have Colonel Barada sent directly to the Optimus upon his arrival.
I spoke with the Colonel last night, and informed him that his role aboard the Optimus would be a large one and would require more work than most ship captains have to endure. He didn't seem bothered by the amount of work that was going to be required of him, and I am comforted by the fact that I will have an excellent Executive who is competent, and won't need me looking over his shoulder every five minutes...leaving me to get other work finished.
I contacted the UFP's intelligence division and asked them to send me any new intelligence that they recieved, and let them know that I would do the same.
Former Durango and Terrasect XO, Captain Jason Fedor Contacted Commander Jayden and myself this past week and updated me on some new developments concerning the invaders....this leads me to believe that Section-31 is wanting to cooperate with Star-fleet in some manner. I will attempt to contact the director, and see what he is willing to do.

We have been recieving new intel on an hourly basis, although I must admit that most of it pertains to information we have already, and is of no use.
Colonel Barada has taken control of the intel-department, as I knew he would and is very reliable. Lt. Dalton was brought-in as his chief intelligence officer, and will work closely with the Colonel, perhaps making his job easier...if that is possible.
Section-31 has contacted us and given new information pertaining to the invaders. According to the director of section-31, the invaders have been battling with the Dominion and other Gamma-quadrant races for well over a year now. The Director requested that we work together on this (the Invaders), but I am a bit leary....at any-rate, we need information, and any resource is a good resource...so I had Colonel Barada reply to the communication. I am sure the Colonel will handle the situation properly.

Admiral's log, Star date:64127.71 ,
A lot has happened in the last few days. President Pelleaon was kidnapped or killed...we are unsure at this time because all we know is what he sent out in his distress-communication.
After learning of his "disappearance", I have ordered a change of the rules of engagement concerning these invaders. They are to be treated as hostiles, and dealt with accordingly. President Pelleaon wanted us to maintain a "wait-and-see" stance for now, but with his kidnapping, and possible death...I am unwilling to bet the lives of the people that serve under me that the invaders are here to talk.... and considering recent developments and intelligence reports, it appears that I am right.
I have up-graded Colonel Barada's clearance to that of my own. This was done as a redundancy measurement....should anything happen to me. I am aware that the senate could name a president, and that the new President could then assign the clearance...but that would take too much time, knowing the senate as I do...and to be honest, I don't think that time is something we have the luxury of spending at this time.

Admiral's log, star-date:64159.96 ,
"Due to recent intelligence reports, concerning the invader's use of mimics, and Colonel Barada's belief that these mimics may in-fact have penetrated the inner circle of star-fleet and possibly the legislative branch of the UFP, I have decided, after consultation with Colonel Barada, to re-assign Commander Jayden Ariko to special-operations status.
Her missions will be filed under SSR046 clearance, and we will leak a report that the commander has been removed from command of the Bajoran sector due to negligence, and/or conduct unbecoming. This falsified leak is necessary in the event that the Colonel's suspicions are correct, and star-fleet security has been compromised by the invaders.
Lieutenant Commander Xavven Arroway will assume command of the USS Numeria and the Bajoran region until further notice. All subsequent decisions will be handled as if the leaked report were true.
The USS Serenity IO sent an encrypted message informing us that the Breen were attacked by the invaders, and requested assistance. After the Serenity, and her contingent entered the fray, the invaders retreated, and the Breen insisted on all SF personnel leaving their space.
I do not like the way the Breen are conducting themselves during this crisis, and will consult the regional commander and Colonel Barada as to whether we will offer assistance to them again, without a treaty in-place.

Admiral's log, star-date:64174.41 ,
With Commander Ariko's re-assignment, I have been keeping a watchful eye on the USS Numeria's transition, to ensure that it goes smoothly; so far it has gone according to plan. We are about an hour away from rendezvous with Commander Ariko. Once she arrives, Colonel Barada will brief her on her objectives, and she will be sent on her way. There will only be three people who are aware of Commander Ariko's mission and her objective: Colonel Barada, Commander Ariko, and myself. For security purposes, her mission and it's specifics will remain unknown.
On the Optimus, all is going well. Sub Commander Khev has arrived, and after a brief meet in the ready-room with the Colonel and myself, the Sub-Commander went to task. She is a very capable leader; I see why she was chosen to come here.
I have received encrypted Intel from the Klingons informing me that mimic may have "replaced" one of their leaders. My sources have been quite vague in their reports, but from what I can gather, it appears that this "mimic" problem is far-reaching, and may be a larger part of the "invaders' " plan of attack, than I originally believed. I am of the belief that Colonel Barada may have seen this coming before anyone else, as he eluded to it on a couple occassions....as a possibility.
The SSR Reports cat-and-mouse skirmishes with invaders, but nothing of any substance at this time. They are currently headed for the Briar-Patch, acting on some Intel received from an undisclosed source.

Admiral's log; star-date: 64249.28
We have been keeping in-touch with Commander Ariko as much as we can. From her last report (4 days ago) , she is on-track to complete her objective.
Still no word on President Pelleaon or the Presidential star-ship USS Wind-Whisper. I fear that all may be lost. I base these feelings on the fact that a clone of the President has been found and captured by the SSR.
The SSR went to the Briar-Patch and found what they referred to as a "relay station", that acted as a relay of a larger device . The intel recovered from the station indicated that it was one of 25 such stations in our universe. Apparently the invaders are from another dimension and they use these "relay-stations" to re-fuel or re-energize a remote device, located on each of their star-ships, which in-turn allows them to go-between dimensions. The devices that are located on the Invader's star-ships apparently need re-fueled frequently. Once the SSR recognized this, they took all Intel they could get, and all mimics, and pods, and then destroyed the station. This will force the Invaders to go to one of the other stations , and hopefully that will help us locate more of them, as the location of the other 24 stations was not anywhere to be found.
Commander Jonathan Groveman and Lt.Commander Myranda Groveman have been sent transfer orders, stationing them on the Optimus. Their combined experience, and background(s) is an asset that Colonel Barada and I felt we needed. Lt.Commander Nikko Kushani has been given command of the USS Serenity. Colonel Barada has sent the orders.
Sub-Commander Khev has been doing an exemplary job, although I am not familiar with her native language and she uses it often. I also get the vibe that she doesn't really like being here, but has come because she was ordered to do so. Hopefully we will help change her feelings toward us.
There were 8 invader-ships spotted , heading for the sol-sector. We learned of this while cloaked, and tracked them until hearing of The situation in the Briar-Patch, which gave Intel saying that 400+ invaders were headed for the sol-sector and Capella star-yards. Commander J'den also has captured a mimic of Captain Jason Fedor, who was found dead. An autopsy showed that the Captain had been dead for more than seven months.
We contacted Captain Washington, the Sol-Sector Commander, and informed him of the 8 ships, and the Intel received from the Briar-Patch. We also sent an additional 2000 star-ships to him. He later sent an encrypted message confirming that his outer defenses had located and destroyed the eight invaders.
We are en-route to SB-141, and will be meeting-up with The USS Chimaira and The USS Sentinel (SSR). We plan on taking the mimics of Captain Fedor and President Pelleaon aboard, once we meet the Chimaira and Sentinel.
Ensign (Doctor) Sabina Jackson has also been transfered to the Optimus and is currently the CMO. Retinal scanners have been placed outside TL-doors in engineering, the bridge the secondary bridge and the computer core. this has been installed as an additional protection for the Optimus, as any officer that enters any of those areas must use the scanner before entering. CSEC Sara Kushani has placed a staggered security detachment at each of the scanner-stations.

::::Admiral's Log:::::
President Pelleaon, it turn-out is alive. The USS Wind-Whisper apparently was hijacked by invaders, and took the Whisper through a portal to another dimension...where the invaders come from.
According to a report I received from President Pelleaon, The Invader's universe is collapsing. He was unable to determine a reason for the phenomenon, but theorized that it was the cause for the Invader's attack on our universe.
The Invaders apparently didn't want this information getting into our hands as they attacked the Whisper as soon as it escaped back to our dimension. Captain Washington and a small detachment Fleet saved the President, and his wife, Ambassador Pelleaon, but it is believed that it may have cost the Captain his life, as soon afterward, he sent out a distress-signal, followed by a priority-one sub-space message to myself. He said that his crew had evacuated the ship, but the destruction of the Guardian was imminent. Captain Washington was to contact me once he had escaped in a POD, but after three hours there had been no communication. It is believed that the Captain may have been lost with his ship, as reports from nearby ships, who were in battle with the Invaders , have confirmed that the Guardian has indeed been lost.
Admiral Salas has been re-assigned to Sol-Sector, she is to take her fleet with her, and with the additional ships being sent to SOL, in addition to the Concord and Chimaira Fleets, it is hoped that they will be able to thwart what intelligence suggests to be a massive attack, forth-coming.
I have received news from The Bajor Sector that The Numeria has been crippled by an attack.... Commander Arroway sent me a detailed analysis of the situation. I informed him to abandon his ship if need-be, and that The USS Serenity would be taking charge of the Bajor Fleet. I have sent an additional 3,000 ships to the Bajor Sector to assist them.
Captain Kasia Kaz sent a priority-one message, indicating that they may also be over-matched. I am going to take the Optimus and a detachment to her location as soon as I meet with Admiral Salas, and pick-up any survivors from the USS Guardian's Escape-PODS.
Here on the Optimus, General Barada and Lieutenant Sheldon have been stricken with some unknown ailment. Second Officer Reha Khev has been told she is the acting Executive Officer. Dr.Jackson is currently working on both Sheldon and the General; No more is known at this time, but we are taking no chances, and are quarantining them from all the other patients.
