"Executive Officer's Log. Colonel K. Barada reporting."
"I have arrived at my new posting without incident. The Optimus is well suited for its role. And new personnel are rotating in as we speak."
"We are at war. A war of intelligence so far. The Impostors have invaded our space, disguising themselves for what reason we know not as yet. They have engaged our ships. And lives have been lost. The Optimus has been tasked with serving as command center for Fleet Admiral Heath Malc, Director of Starfleet Operations. A large part of that mission is collecting and correlating the various Intel."
"That task has begun. Now to get the answers so that plans can be drawn."

"Executive Officer's Log. Colonel K. Barada reporting."
"The battle is raging in all the key Federation sectors. Starfleet commanders have been instructed to engage Invader ships---to seek and destroy. The Optimus crew is beginning to settle into its duties, and the Analysis Department is starting to filter the raw Intel being received."
"I have been getting reports in as to success against the new weapon the Invaders first used against the Concord. But we are still piecing the threads together. Hopefully we will be able to uncover something that will give our troops the Tactical Advantage. I have tasked the staff to do just that."
"While we have been in contact with Section 31, and their information has been generally accurate, they have not provided us with anything we could not have uncovered ourselves."

"Executive Officer's Log. Colonel K. Barada reporting."
"The Optimus has been increasing staffing almost exponentially. We have moved into the Sol Sector and are on course. I have been checking the reports from the SI field agents and ship-assigned intelligence officers and as expected Starfleet has indeed been infiltrated by the invaders."
"Cases of officers and crewmen being replaced by these "mimics" are coming in from all over. The reports are increasing, as the DNA scans and retinal scans are completed. All fleets have done an excellent job in carrying out those particular instructions."
"I have spoken to the Fleet Admiral and he agreed that there is a great risk. The unofficial and official reports coming in prove that. The Fleet Admiral asked my opinion about martial law being instituted. I related to him that I felt that would be prudent, especially with the evidence that is coming in."
"I have not heard of any reports from Starfleet Command or the Council of Impostors being found. My recommendation will be that once martial law is enacted, all Federation citizens submit to these scans."

"Executive Officer's Log. Colonel K. Barada reporting."
"I have instructed the chief medical officer of the Optimus to complete the DNA and retinal imaging scans for the rest of the Optimums crew by the end of Gamma Shift----no excuses."
"Evidence is showing, as I suspected, that the Impostor threat is far-reaching. At least one prominent military leader, coincidentally in the Klingon Empire, has been replaced by a mimic. And there is evidence that they have attempted to infiltrate the gene poll of the Empire."
"Martial law is very much in order as we need to control what is going on within the borders of the Federation. I have no doubt that both the President and the First Lady were compromised from within and that individual or individuals are still at large. They must be brought before Starfleet Command and interrogated."
"Mimics as they are being referred to, are being discovered on Starfleet ship's and installations throughout the Federation. No area is safe and nothing and no one is sacred. We need to expand the testing into the civilian population."
"No demands have been made by these invaders. But we have engineering teams working on reverse-engineering the units used to mimic other humanoids. It is clear that these invaders are not interested in talking terms and cannot be reasoned with. Therefore we need to discover their bases of operations and wipe from them from the stars without prejudice. They must be destroyed, wholly, completely, swiftly and with great finality."
"I am going to recommend to the Fleet Admiral that the Space marines, Starfleet's elite expeditionary force, be divided up and assigned to each frontline fleet. These individuals are uniquely trained and prepared for such actions."
"It is time that we turned the tide and took the fight to these invaders driving them back to wherever they came from and out of our space. Where that is has become more and more perplexing. But since we are discovering their technology and beginning to encounter and hopefully capture their personnel we come closer to striking them at their heart."
"I have numerous interrogators prepared. When we receive one of the impostor invaders, they will be thoroughly debriefed and whatever information they hold will be garnered. Each piece of the puzzle brings us closer to our ultimate goal, the absolute and complete destruction of our enemy."
"As soon as spies can be identified we will be able to conduct more effective counterintelligence. meanwhile we are still trying to unlock what may be the true key to victory, how to create and utilize the interdimensional portals."

"Executive Officer's Log. Colonel K. Barada reporting."
"Intel has been provides the rationale for the strange harmonic effect issued by the Invader ships. It is a type of remote control device for the trans-dimensional devices they use. Apparently they have 25 relay stations in our dimension. If these relay stations are destroyed, presumably there will be no way for the Invaders to send more ships to our dimension."
"I have Analysis studying the harmonic and have asked for a full work up on it. I want to know if this harmonic is the cause or the effect of the trans-dimensional portals. And if it can be either duplicated or jammed using known Federation technology."
"This is the break we have been looking for. I am recommending that debris from destroyed Invader ships be scoured for Invader data nodes. The key now is gaining Intel on the other 25 bases and destroying them."

"Executive Officer's Log. General K. Barada reporting."
"The situation has become grim indeed. An Impostor fleet has engaged our forces assigned to the Ferengi Sector and the Invaders have launched an all-out offensive against the Sol Sector and the Capella IV Shipyards. They are striking at the heart of the Federation."
"The Romulan Sector Fleet has bee reassigned to the Sol Sector. Captain Washington informs me that Captain J'Den has been assigned to take charge of the forces in the Capellan System."
"The Fleet Admiral met with the command staffs of the SSR and the Chimaira. After a briefing on the current situation, 200 additional ships were assigned to the Bajor sector Fleet and to Captain J'Den's forces. The crew of the Decatur has been transferred to the Optimus. And the Decatur itself was destroyed."
"The President Pelleaon and Captain Fedor mimics were transferred to Optimus for interrogation. This is being arranged as we speak. There will be medical personnel present. But, as per fleet orders, the mimics will be disposed of after the interrogations are completed."
"The President Pelleaon mimic will be first, as the Captain Fedor mimic is in a coma after a mindmeld with Captain J'Den. The Fedor mimic is in stasis. I will speak to Dr. Jackson about reviving him. if that does not work, then the mimic will be subjected to psychotricorder scan, and his mind sifted of whatever information is available."

"Executive Officer's Log. General K. Barada reporting."
"The Invaders have begun their assault on Sector 001. Their desperation is apparent. But a desperate man will go to any length. War teaches us that."
"The Chimaira and the Concord's divisions have been called in to assist. But the resources of these invaders seem almost limitless. While the Federation has negotiated treaties with most of the super powers in out galaxy, these Invaders have no such moral standards. As we battle them, they even destroy our lifeboats, from ships that can no longer battle. They would even destroy innocents. Even kill those who cannot fight back."
"And the situation aboard the Numeria is even more disturbing. Genetic warfare is an abomination to every known race. But they have freely and openly used this weapon, hoping it would spread throughout our fleet and our worlds----hoping to perform genocide all of us. These are not people, they are abominations. They must be stopped at all costs."
"Section 31 has been lying to us all along. I have contacted the Dominion to get the true picture of the Invader threat within their space, and as with the Dominion War offered to work with them against this menance. Meanwhile, there are a series of outposts within the Demilitarized Zone that Section 31 has been operating for some time. I have leaked the location of one such base to the Obsidian Order. More than likely, they will hire an Orion hit team to do the dirty work. When Section 31 complains of foulplay, I will blame Fedor for giving up their position."
